Two musicians meet while attending the Jacob’s School of Music at Indiana University. They move to Chicago together, and then move to New York together – all the while making music. However, things don’t get interesting until one member leaves for Morocco and the other leaves for a year-long tour with David Byrne. The tracks were finished remotely, which brought about a fresh approach to their project as they introduced new ideas and sounds. Loki Moon is influenced by the likes of D’Angelo, James Blake, and Outkast, to name a few. Loki Moon released their first single and music video, ‘On My Own (Blipp)’ in the summer of 2018. Their upcoming EP ‘Blasé’ will be released in the coming months.
